What it costs
Posting is free. You set the price for the job, pay by card through the app, and can add a tip when it's done. Teen Forge charges a 20% platform fee out of the job price after completion, so the teen receives 80% plus 100% of the tip. No cash, no chasing invoices.
How we keep it safe on both sides
- Customers verify their identity before a gig can go live.
- Indoor work requires a customer safety screening plus written parent consent.
- Teens check in and out with location sharing, visible to their parent.
- Reviews on both sides keep repeat work with people you already trust.
Parent approval, not extra work for you
For teens aged 14 to 17, a linked parent approves the gig before it starts. You just see the job accepted once it's cleared — nothing to coordinate over text.
Local by design
Gigs are shown to teens ranked by distance from your address, so the people who apply are the ones nearby. Exact addresses stay hidden until a job is approved.
